FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.  Pricing + Deposits

 

 

  • Half-Day (up to 3 hours): $500

  • Full-Day (up to 6 hours): $1000

  • Deposits (applied to final total):

     

     

    • Half-Day deposit: $150

    • Full-Day deposit: $250

  • Small tattoos: If it’s less than a half-day, note that in your request and I’ll fit you into a smaller slot if available.

2. Booking + Approval Process

 

 

  • Requests are reviewed in batches (usually within 24–48 hours).

  • If approved, you’ll receive a private booking link + digital consent form.

  • Your appointment is confirmed once the deposit is paid.

​3.  Bringing a +1

​

 

  • One person max unless discussed and approved ahead of time.

  • They must be respectful, quiet, and not interfere with the session.

  • If they become a distraction, they will be asked to step out.

4. SNACKS + DRINKS

  • Eat a real meal before your appointment.

  • Bring water and snacks (especially if you’re prone to low blood sugar).

5. ANIMALS

​

  • No animals allowed.  including service animals. No exceptions.

6. APPROPRIATE CLOTHING

  • Wear clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.

  • Wear comfortable/dark clothing you don’t mind getting stained.

  • Avoid tight clothing that will rub the tattoo afterward.

7.  COMFORT ITEMS

  • You’re welcome to bring: blanket, stress ball, headphones, neck pillow, phone charger.

  • If you bring a blanket, wash it before coming.

8.  MINORS (16-17)

​

 

  • I tattoo 16–17 year olds only.

  • A parent/legal guardian must be present for the entire appointment.

  • Required documents:

     

     

    • Minor’s birth certificate

    • Minor’s photo ID (if they have one)

    • Parent/guardian photo ID

  • No head/face/neck or hands for minors — no exceptions.

9. SMOKING/VAPING

  • Vaping is fine as long as it’s respectful.

  • No clouds / no blowing it all over the room.

  • Follow shop rules. Breaks are fine, but frequent breaks slow the session.

10. ALCOHOL/DRUGS

  • No alcohol or drugs before your appointment.

  • If you show up impaired, the session will be cancelled and the deposit is forfeited.

11. PREGNANCY POLICY

  • I do not tattoo pregnant clients.

  • If there’s any chance you may be pregnant, reschedule.

12. HYGEINE

  • Arrive showered and with clean skin.

  • No heavy lotion/oils on the tattoo area.

  • Avoid sunburn/tanning before your appointment.

13. NUMBING CREAM

  • I do not provide numbing cream.

  • If you choose to use it, you must buy your own and apply it exactly as the product instructions specify.

  • If numbing cream affects how the skin takes ink or heals, you may need a touch-up (see touch-up policy).

14. TOUCH UPS

  • 1 free touch-up if it heals poorly, heals too light, or something happens to it within 30 days that affects healing.

  • No free touch-ups for issues caused by aftercare problems (picking/scratching, sun/tanning, friction, soaking, not following instructions, etc.).

  • After 30 days (my work): $100/hour, 1-hour minimum.

  • Not my work: $165/hour, 1-hour minimum.

  • Touch-ups are scheduled based on availability.

15. AFTER CARE FOR DERMSHIELD

  • You’ll leave with Derm Shield (or a comparable medical-grade adhesive bandage) unless your skin doesn’t tolerate it.

  • Keep Derm Shield on for 2–5 days (follow the exact instructions I give you). Some fluid/ink seepage under the bandage is normal.

  • If the edges start lifting, you can trim the loose edge with clean scissors. If it’s peeling badly, leaking a lot, or getting dirty, remove it.

  • To remove: wash hands, peel it off slowly in the shower under warm water (pull parallel to the skin, not straight up).

  • After removing Derm Shield:

     

    • Wash gently with unscented soap and lukewarm water.

    • Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

    • Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion as needed (don’t overdo it).

     

  • Do not: pick/scratch, soak (baths/pools/hot tubs), or expose it to heavy sun/tanning while healing.

  • If you have signs of a reaction (worsening redness spreading, rash, intense itching, heat, pus, fever), remove the bandage and contact me. Seek medical care if symptoms are severe.

16. CONTACT/UPDATES TO TATTOO REQUEST

  • If you need to add one important detail (placement, size, reference image), reply to your confirmation email with “UPDATE” in the subject line.

17. RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • If you need to reschedule, notify me as soon as possible.

  • Reschedules are based on availability.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled date if you give reasonable notice.
